The Craptastics

We went to Sarah’s wedding on Friday. It was difficult not to feel nostalgic sitting at a table with Kate and Joe and seeing Sarah in the dress and whatnot. Especially driving down Islington towards the highway, like I did so many times after dropping Sarah off at the subway station all those years ago.

As we sat through the reception, we mulled on the web of mixed up relationships we had back in university, now that a chunk of us are married or engaged.

I think I freaked out Kate a bit with my rapt attention. I’m still mesmerized by her conversation and feel that each word should be appreciated. When she was first hurt I wanted so badly to just hear her talk. And now that I have the opportunity I kinda get carried away. Blinking might help.
